Welcome to St. Stephen’s Anglican Church! We are a traditional Anglican Church in southern Middle Tennessee. Whether you are looking for a new church community or new to the Christian faith entirely, we welcome you. We are a church that embraces the Catholic worship tradition of the past, but embraces the theology of the Protestant Reformation, particularly the reformation that brought forth the Church of England and what is now the worldwide Anglican Communion. St. Stephen’s is under the jurisdiction of the Episcopal Missionary Church Diocese of the South, and our jurisdiction has a concordat with the Anglican Church in North America.

We use the 1928 Book of Common Prayer for our worship. We recognize the Holy Bible as the inerrant Word of God, the ancient creeds and the importance of the sacraments in the life of the everyday Christian. The message is simple; Jesus Christ has redeemed humanity by the cross and through his resurrection has given us eternal life through his name. We welcome you on this journey of faith to get to know Jesus Christ as our Lord, Savior and Friend. I hope you will join us for the journey of a lifetime.
